It is reported that she may be considering a move from Spain to Florida to make it her new home base. While she has been accused of failing to pay taxes in Spain between 2012 and 2014, Shakira claims she did not live in the country during that time. Nevertheless, the prosecutor’s office has requested a lengthy prison sentence and a substantial fine for her alleged crimes against the Public Treasury.

She denies all offences and is seeking a full acquittal. A spokesperson for the pop star assured that she always follows the counsel of PriceWaterhouse Coopers, a globally recognised tax firm, and has impeccable conduct as a taxpayer. Shakira is often seen in floaty sundresses and is ready to face the Miami heat.
