Miley Cyrus is facing more health troubles and had to delay the beginning of her European tour. After being released from the hospital following a bad allergic reaction to antibiotics, she now needs more time to recover before kicking off the Bangerz tour in Amsterdam on May 2nd and Antwerp on May 4th.
Update: Miley Cyrus is facing additional health challenges due to a serious allergic reaction to antibiotics. She recently shared a photo from the hospital where she was being treated for the same issue earlier this month.
According to a representative for Miley, her upcoming tour dates have been rescheduled for June 22nd and June 20th as her doctors have advised against travel until she fully recovers.
The statement revealed, “Miley is still recovering from the severe allergic reaction she experienced on April 15. Despite some progress, her symptoms have returned, and doctors have advised against travel. This kind of reaction can last for up to 27 days, requiring Miley to remain under medical care.”
Despite these setbacks, the European leg of Miley’s tour is still scheduled to begin at London’s O2 Arena on May 6th.
Facing another setback, the singer has reportedly had to reschedule the European portion of her tour. Just three days after her concert in Auburn Hills on April 12, she was rushed to the hospital. A tweet filled with crying emojis followed from the 21-year-old the next day, indicating her disappointment. According to a source, Miley is feeling really down about the situation.
This is not the first time the Bangerz artist has had to cancel tour dates due to health issues. Previously, she had to cut short the US leg of her tour because of a severe allergic reaction. Miley shared details of her experience in the hospital during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Monday, describing it as a frightening ordeal. She even tried to persuade doctors to let her leave and perform despite her condition, but they deemed it impossible.
The Wrecking Ball singer explained that she fell ill while on tour and was prescribed Cephalexin, a medication she unknowingly had a severe allergy to. After six days of taking the medication, she woke up feeling extremely unwell, realizing she had been unintentionally poisoning herself. The incident left her shaken, emphasizing the importance of being aware of one’s allergies.
Miley’s social media posts from Monday and Tuesday revealed her frustration and sadness over a certain issue.
Taking a turn for the worse: A 21-year-old celebrity, who recently posted a photo saying she was starting to feel better, faced a setback in her health. After spending a night in the hospital and resuming her tour, she fell ill again the next day and had to go back to the hospital. The young star shared that the most difficult part was not being able to be on stage and perform. Despite her earlier comments about feeling good and better, she faced more health issues. Her tour plans included performances in Europe until mid-June followed by shows in the US in August.
Miley has a busy schedule ahead with her upcoming performances. She is set to entertain crowds in Europe until mid-June, followed by a two-week stint in August. However, there is uncertainty looming over whether she will need to cancel the rest of her tour.
